June is here

so fast... another month has passed, and my internship has been 4 weeks. Yesterday, had the longest training for cheerleading. from mornin 9plus till afternn 4 plus. Our 1st performance may be coming soon. must put in extra effort for trainin, dance n stunts.
went dinner at geylang with some of the team. ate beef horfun, some had frog porridge, had douhua+youtiao, and durian after tt. and sat down by the river beside kallang mrt to chitchat.
Nat asked abt our childhood ambition... come to think of it, I really had not tot of childhood ambition... durin my childhood. kinda sad.. wat had my childhood been? playing game console? toys? daydream of being superheroes(haa,does all boys tot of tt)?
but then again, how shld u define a childhood ambition? something u really wanna do thruout ur childhood, even till u grown up, or just something u wanna be/do during a short phase of tt moment during childhood?
i have known ppl who dreams of being doctor since young, till they grow older, they still wanna be... and when cannot get into medicine fac, they get upset. they have a passion for being doctor, but failed to get in, while others who may just be trying their luck or just cos there's good money involved, got in.

I can remember in pri school, during a certain chinese lesson, there was a worksheet, and a qn askin wat's ur ambition. me being a small kid, and not knowing much abt wat holds in the future, just ask those sittin ard, end up just write "gong cheng shi" (engineer). wah... seems like tt seals my fate to study engineering..
but nah... i think at tt age, my only concern is play n enjoy. maybe dreaming of being superheroes counts as ambition? save the world from vilians. haa... recall the days of watching mask rider, ultraman... haa... perhaps being the centre of attraction is something i craved for? i dunno, cos i had always been more of a supporting cast bah. like in bball, i'm always supporting my best buddy CS, who's our main player. well, he's the best/better one mah. but there was once, we were playing a friendly 4on4 with another grp tt played quite well too, whom we dubbed the kim mor(golden hair), ha, cos of their dyed hair. CS wasn't ard la, so i led our bunch. we were thrashin them but let them catch up n win. a regret of mine for not winnin it.. shld had won,guessed my drive to win wasn't there then.

instead of childhood ambitions, more impt now, is wat lies in the future for me? it had always been a discussion with frenz. 1 more year to grad, wat you gonna do after tt? i always tell ppl, i wont work in my field of study for long, if i do enter it in the first place. Don think i can endure it. haa... i prefer real life interaction. I had tot of joinin prison service, during ns, planned to get their scholarship, but they reject me lei... damn it. cannot get free education.. haa. but seriously, sometimes i feel tt these inmates have a better character than some so-called highly educated ppl. being able to bring them back to the straight path would be marvellous. At least get to touch their lives... it will bring much more satisfaction. only disadv i'll get in this career is, my honours degree is lousy.. at most 2nd lower, will be slower in promotions n stuffs. but to me, i find job satisfaction more impt.
i had also tot of being PE teacher.. haa... acad teacher more stressful, needa teach so much subjects. PE teacher can do sports most of the time.. haa.. my fren who's a pe teacher now, also had to teach 1 subject. work hours end up also whole day. teachin is hard nowadays. It would be nice to be able to mould the future generations, but it's not easy.

for now, our team must train hard for performance, and we will do it.
